Description

The 6.25m Profisher Centre Console takes the same offshore plate hull as the rest of the Profisher range and strips the deck back to what an angler actually wants: clear space on every side. With the helm mounted amidships, you can walk the full perimeter of the boat and follow a running fish from the bow around to the transom without stepping over a cabin, a bulkhead or a windscreen. For anglers chasing pelagics, casting to structure or fishing three and four up, that unobstructed deck is the whole argument.

Construction

The hull is fully welded plate aluminium with a 6mm bottom and a 6mm transom, and the topsides are 5mm — a millimetre heavier than the hardtop versions of this hull. That extra plate matters more on an open boat, where the gunwales take the load every time someone braces against them to fight a fish. At 1,150kg dry, the boat sits down in the water and tracks straight through a chop rather than skipping across it.

Dimensions and capacity

Overall length is 6.25 metres, with a hull length of 6 metres, a 2.3-metre beam and 1.35 metres of depth. Maximum person capacity is six. The 175-litre fuel tank gives comfortable range for a full offshore day, and it sits in a dedicated compartment with the battery shelf, keeping weight low and out of the fishing space.

Power

The Centre Console is rated for a single outboard from 115hp minimum to 200hp maximum on a 25-inch transom shaft, so the boat can be set up as an economical inshore rig or a serious offshore one depending on how you fish it. Engine mounting plates come fitted as part of the premium package.

Fishing fit-out

A 45-litre fish tank and a 35-litre live bait tank with integrated rod holders come standard, along with a cutting board, rod holders down both gunwales and rocket launchers overhead on the T-top. Side storage trays run the length of the deck for tackle and gear, and a transducer mount bracket is already in place for your sounder. Anti-slip padding on the gunwales gives you something to brace against when a fish runs, and the T-top keeps the helm shaded through the middle of the day.

Helm and deck

The console carries a marine driver’s seat and a switch control panel, with cushions fitted as standard. Deck and safety equipment includes an anchor well with alloy fairlead and roller, mooring cleats, a battery isolation switch, an automatic bilge pump, navigation and mast lights, bow and stern handrails, a rear fold-down seat and a boarding ladder at the transom. The premium package adds foam flotation, putty and spray paint finish, aluminium hatch covers and towing eyes. Two-tone paint is standard.

Options

The Centre Console can be specified with Seastar hydraulic steering, an electric anchor capstan with chain and warp, electric trim tabs, a washdown pump kit, a marine toilet, a marine compass, a Bluetooth stereo with speakers, LED and halogen searchlights, LED deck lights, underwater lights, upgraded damping seats, an EVA teak floor, a carpeted cabin lining, a bow thruster mount and a radar holder. Aluminium and hot-dip galvanised steel trailers are available.
