The 6.25m G2 is the new-generation Profisher — the same proven plate aluminium hull wrapped in a redesigned hardtop and cockpit, with a fully welded 6mm bottom, 4mm topsides and a 6mm transom rated for a single outboard from 115hp to 200hp. The reworked layout opens up the cockpit and adds a lockable cuddy cabin forward, so there’s secure dry storage without giving up fishing room. At 1,150kg dry it holds its line through a swell rather than skipping across it, seats up to six and carries 175 litres of fuel for a full offshore day. A 45-litre fish tank, a 35-litre live bait tank with integrated rod holders, gunwale rod holders and rocket launchers all come standard, and Adventure and Ultimate packages are available for a fully rigged boat. Description
The 6.25m G2 takes the offshore hull that made the Profisher and rebuilds everything above the waterline. The result is a cleaner hardtop profile, a more open cockpit and a lockable cuddy cabin forward — a boat that looks the part on the ramp and works harder once you’re out wide. The hull underneath is unchanged plate aluminium: fully welded, 6mm on the bottom, 4mm topsides and a 6mm transom, with the weight and rigidity to sit down and track straight through a nasty afternoon chop.
Dimensions and capacity
Overall length is 6.25 metres, with a hull length of 6 metres, a 2.3-metre beam and 1.35 metres of depth. Dry weight is 1,150kg and maximum person capacity is six. The 175-litre fuel tank gives comfortable range for a full offshore run without planning the day around a refuel, and it sits in a dedicated compartment alongside the battery shelf to keep weight low and out of the fishing space.
Power
The G2 is rated for a single outboard from 115hp minimum to 200hp maximum on a 25-inch transom shaft, so you can match the engine to how you actually use the boat — economical cruising through to a full offshore rig. Engine mounting plates are fitted as part of the premium package.
Fishing fit-out
The redesigned cockpit puts more usable space around the angler. A 45-litre fish tank and a 35-litre live bait tank with integrated rod holders come standard, along with a cutting board, rod holders down both gunwales and rocket launchers on the hardtop. Side storage trays run the length of the cockpit for tackle and gear, and a transducer mount bracket is already in place for your sounder. The gunwales carry anti-slip padding so you can brace against the side without losing your footing when a fish runs. Live bait tank pumps are included in the premium package.
Cabin and helm
The hardtop cabin is fitted with a marine driver’s seat and a navigator’s seat, sliding windows for airflow, an electric wiper and a switch control panel within reach of the helm. Cushions are standard and an offshore hatch in the roof lets you work the bow or clear the anchor without leaving the cabin. The forward cuddy gives you enclosed storage for gear you’d rather keep dry, and handrails run through the rear cabin and across the hardtop.
Deck and safety hardware
Standard equipment covers the practical side of a day offshore: an anchor well with alloy fairlead and roller, mooring cleats, a battery isolation switch, an automatic bilge pump, navigation and mast lights, bow and stern handrails, a rear fold-down seat and a boarding ladder at the transom. The premium package adds foam flotation, putty and spray paint finish, aluminium hatch covers and towing eyes. Two-tone paint is standard.
Adventure Package
The Adventure Package takes the standard boat and adds the gear most owners fit first: Seastar hydraulic steering, a Viper 600W anchor winch, a deck wash system, deck lights, EVA flooring through the cabin and deck, a lockable cuddy cabin door, a marine toilet and carpets through the cuddy and cabin. It’s the sensible middle step — everything that makes the boat easier to run day to day, without the electronics.
Ultimate Package
The Ultimate Package builds a fully rigged, ready-to-fish boat. It includes everything in the Adventure specification — hydraulic steering, EVA flooring, carpets, lockable cuddy door, deck lights, a Jabsco 3.5gpm deck wash, a Viper 600W anchor windlass and a marine toilet — and adds a HASDA Bluetooth stereo with two speakers, a damping seat base, a compass, a Garmin 9-inch electronics solution with chart plotter, antenna and fish finder, a Horizon GX1400 VHF radio and an aluminium trailer. Hitch it up and go.
Further options
Beyond the packages, the G2 can be specified with LED and halogen searchlights, underwater lights, electric trim tabs, a washdown pump kit, anchor chain and warp, upgraded damping seats, a forward lounge cabin door, a bimini sun shade on a 316 stainless frame, a bow thruster mount and a radar holder. Aluminium and hot-dip galvanised steel trailers are available separately.
Warranty
Every G2 hull carries a 5-year warranty, with 12 months on paintwork and boat parts.
