Description

The 6.25m Profisher is a plate aluminium hardtop designed for anglers who fish well past the heads and want a boat that shrugs off a nasty afternoon chop. The hull is fully welded plate construction with a 6mm bottom, 4mm topsides and a 6mm transom, giving it the weight and rigidity to hold a line through a swell rather than skipping across it. At 1,150kg dry, it sits low and tracks straight, and the hardtop keeps the crew dry and shaded through a long day on the water.

Dimensions and capacity

Overall length is 6.25 metres, with a hull length of 6 metres, a 2.3-metre beam and 1.35 metres of depth. Maximum person capacity is six. The 175-litre fuel tank gives comfortable range for a full offshore day without needing to plan the trip around a refuel, and the tank sits in a dedicated compartment alongside the battery shelf, keeping weight low and out of the fishing space.

Power

The Profisher is rated for a single outboard from 115hp minimum to 200hp maximum, running a 25-inch transom shaft. That range suits anything from an economical cruising setup through to a full-noise offshore rig, so you can match the engine to how you actually use the boat. Engine mounting plates come fitted as part of the premium package.

Fishing fit-out

This is where the Profisher earns its name. A 45-litre fish tank and a 35-litre live bait tank with integrated rod holders come standard, along with a cutting board, rod holders along both gunwales and rocket launchers mounted on the hardtop. Side storage trays run down each side of the cockpit for tackle and gear, and a transducer mount bracket is already in place for your sounder. The gunwales carry anti-slip padding, so you can brace against the side without losing your footing when a fish runs. Live bait tank pumps are included in the premium package.

Cabin and helm

The hardtop cabin is fitted with a marine driver’s seat and a navigator’s seat, sliding windows for airflow, an electric wiper and a switch control panel within easy reach of the helm. Cushions come as standard, and an offshore hatch in the roof lets you work the bow or clear the anchor without leaving the cabin. Handrails run through the rear cabin and across the hardtop.

Deck and safety hardware

Standard equipment covers the practical side of a day offshore: an anchor well with alloy fairlead and roller, mooring cleats, a battery isolation switch, an automatic bilge pump, navigation and mast lights, bow and stern handrails, a rear fold-down seat and a boarding ladder at the transom. The premium package adds foam flotation, putty and spray paint finish, aluminium hatch covers and towing eyes. Two-tone paint is standard.

Options

The Profisher can be specified up to a full offshore setup. Available options include hydraulic steering, an electric anchor winch with chain and warp, electric trim tabs, a washdown pump kit, a marine toilet, a marine compass, a Bluetooth stereo with two speakers, LED and halogen searchlights, LED deck lights, underwater lights, upgraded damping seats, an EVA teak floor, a carpeted cabin, a forward lounge cabin door, a bimini sun shade on a 316 stainless frame, a bow thruster mount and a radar holder. Aluminium and hot-dip galvanised steel trailers are also available.
